Hi, my name is Greg and I am a CELTA (University of Cambridge) qualified teacher. I am passionate about teaching students of all ages, abilities, and levels. As the founder of Sharklab-Malta in 2008, an NGO dedicated to shark and marine-related research, I have organised talks and presentations, covering a wide range of topics. I have given talks and presentations in schools, dive clubs, at national conferences and spoken at an international level.
Teaching is something I really enjoy, sharing experiences and being enthusiastic – both of which are very motivating to my students. I hope I can help you to develop your skills in English.
What I most like about teaching is…
… the opportunity to share my skills and knowledge about language and encourage students to develop their desire to seek out and know more.
My best lesson
Simply where the student leaves the class knowing something new and is better prepared for the world of English communication.
My favourite activities
are the ones where the student questions, processes and then understands. There are so many ways of engaging students, it forms the foundation of my lesson planning.
The best thing about teaching is…
… seeing the eyes of the students shine as they understand something new.
My teaching philosophy
What I know is what I want to share…
what I learn is what I want to share too…
as I develop further I want to share my passion and journey of discovery with my students.
